Team AURA

Kate Marshall - Co-Founder
Kate's road to AURA started with education and work experience in marketing and sales. Driven by a life-long love of being physically active and finding ways to contribute to her community, Kate embodies the #LEVELUP mantra by quietly striving to lift up people around her. You can find her teaching (or taking) a yoga or spin class, setting the pace for her friends up the Grouse Grind, or building innovative sport and wellness programs at Hollyburn Country Club.  She created AURA for her and her tribe.

Jacqui Karr - Specialized Nutrition Consultant

Jaqui Karr, known as “Where Science Meets Common Sense”, is a certified   sports nutritionist, health educator, corporate consultant, and now advisor to AURA for specialized nutrition. In 2008, she made her prime focus allergen-friendly diets and has since helped tens of thousands back to health through her books, live seminars, and online programs. She brings unparalleled expertise in gluten-free nutrition and strengthening compromised immune systems.

Chris Ongkiko - Sales & Marketing
Chris’ history in customer experience in luxury retail operations and consumer goods paved the path to AURA.  A new addition to the family means less time for his wife to focus on her own nutrition.  Looking for the best supplements for her diet, and coming up short for female focused needs, motivated Chris to help create a company in that light.  You’ll find this growing family camping and on the shores of B.C.’s best beaches, from Long Beach in Tofino to West Beach in White Rock.  He makes AURA for Lora and Carter.

Shelby Lang-Perry - Client Support, Quality Control/Assurance
Growing up on the Prairies, Shelby has always enjoyed a healthy lifestyle filled with sports and home cooking. She explored her passion for active living with a bachelor of science in human nutrition and food science from the University of Alberta.
Shelby strives to be a role model in the community and most importantly to her two baby sisters. Most often you can find her in a yoga studio, on a bike, enjoying the mountain views with a snowboard strapped to her feet, or in the kitchen making tasty gluten-free treats.
